Copper Dragon Circles Full Moon Fire

Conjuring the ethers with my form,

I draw with my breath and sword

a motion to render the invisible visible.

Element: fire
Direction: south
Color: red
Season: summer

Facing south, feet shoulder-width apart, toes forward to slightly in, sight down the tip of the sword into a fire beyond.

Mind Technique:

Dance inside two circles rotating on either side connected by an infinity loop. The energy circles are moving from the ground, up the back, over the head, and toward the ground again, before crossing over to the otherside and repeating.

Hand Technique:

Achieve reverse sword grip by rolling sword out of fingertips with swordhand while tossing hilt towards shoulder, and moving hand along with hilt to shoulder to catch it by rolling the hilt back into the palm.

Body Technique:

Initiate Form: Middle fingers control movement of hilt held with a reverse grip. Holding sword hilt near shoulder with hand like a fist holding the crosspiece, step forward with swordhand-side foot so shoulders are narrowest with respect to the motionpath of the blade. Launch hand holding hilt forward and down so elbow strikes and hilt goes toward heart. Punch with hilt away from heart to fullest extent allowing blade to follow just clearing shoulder. Open hand using middle fingers to control blade's descent forward along centerline. Recoil hand to original position, and repeat.

Transition:

Instead of recoiling palm-up hand at end, turn hand over, and squeeze middle fingers while thrusting elbow out to side causing blade to rotate beneath and slap the back of the arm with the flat. Make opposite arm to the same, except with hand upwards to sky for balance and to be ready for next need. Arch sword from behind and forward thrusting it straight out with palm up, then squeeze fingers so blade continues motion path up and then down into crook of arm. Bend elbow to make sword vertical. Reach over with other hand, take the hilt, and invert sword.
