Where? When?
- contact for weekly location.
- Saturday afternoons (4:00pm - 5:30pm)
What to bring?
- practice sword
- requirements:
- double-edged if a sword, round if a stick
- one edged sword not suitable for all five elemental forms
- lightweight
- well-balanced
- durable: okay to drop, resistant to corrosion
- recommended: wood, bamboo, rataan, aluminum
- sources:
- bamboo / wooden staff for warmup exercises
- wear comfortable loose-fitting clothes (sweats, T-shirt, tank top, sweatshirt) for indoor/outdoor workout
- shoes suitable for indoor/outdoor protection: studio floors are wood, outdoor arena is gravel
- bring drinking water, energy bar
- yoga matt for floor training
- notebook, pen
- optional: unscented votive meditation candle (white, yellow, red, blue, green, or violet)
- suggested: donation $10 (plus or minus five)
